I want you to walk away with more than beautiful photographs: I want your session to feel like a real experience — a break from the obligations and roles we’re all juggling, a chance to slow down, and simply be together.
Whether you’re celebrating your family, your relationship, or a meaningful milestone, my approach gives you space to play, connect, and create something meaningful — including images that become cherished heirlooms of this season in your life.
Working with me is collaborative and experience-driven.
It’s about getting in touch with your creativity, being fully present, letting go of rigidity, and spending time together.
This is your reminder that it doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful or worth documenting. There’s beauty in the messes; you don’t have to wait for the perfect outfit, the best weather, or the “ideal” moment. Your life is beautiful right now and worthy of celebration, just as it is.
My favorite sessions are the ones that feel like you — the ones that allow for spontaneity, presence, and moments that unfold naturally, like a casual get-together.
Often, we believe that choosing the perfect outfits, keeping everything immaculate, or finding the prettiest location automatically leads to great photos.
However, truly letting go and having fun together is what creates amazing images. I love this photo because it perfectly captures the magic that happens when we abandon rigidity — for example, when a mom allowed her daughter the freedom to hold a box of cookies, she felt relaxed, open, and comfortable enough to snack, resulting in an incredibly adorable moment that we could never have captured if we had clung to expectations.
If there's one thing I encourage, it's to use our time together to let go, relax, and allow yourself, your kids, and your partner the freedom to be open and vulnerable with me.
This isn’t just your typical photo session...
We’ll plan a really good day—a day that feels special, intentional, and filled with your favorite activities - whether we are in your backyard or on a little day trip.
Once you decide to book, we’ll plan something that feels true to you and this season of life – no matter the session type or event you are booking. This might look like playing catch in the backyard, going on your favorite hike, running around the city with cake and champagne to celebrate your anniversary, or spending the afternoon in your home studio/office documenting your latest work.
I want our time together to feel natural — more like spending time with someone who’s genuinely curious about your world than posing for the camera. I’ll guide when it’s helpful, but I’m just as comfortable stepping back and letting moments unfold on their own.
Whether I’m photographing your family, your relationship, or a meaningful project you’re working on, my focus is the same: creating space for you to be yourselves. Kids lead the way, adults settle in, and everyone gets comfortable enough to forget the camera is even there.
Every gallery blends a thoughtful mix of composed frames and honest, documentary moments — images that feel intentional, emotionally resonant, and deeply personal
"Working with Jamie, was a delight! Her easy going nature made it stress free and fun, capturing natural moments of our family that showcased how we truly are. With our two little kids, she found ways to engage and make their experience light-hearted, keeping them smiling throughout.”
"Jamie is the best photographer. She has two children so she understands how to work with families and meet them where they are. Her pictures capture special and amazing moments that I wish I could bottle up and hold on to forever. Her pictures make that possible."
"Jamie took photos of me in my home for my home styling business, and she made me feel incredibly comfortable and relaxed (one of my favorite shots is of me with my 15-year-old dog!) She has an amazing eye for detail and captured various angles of the room that truly showcased the design."
"Jamie has photographed many of our recent life events- engagement, maternity, babies, and two holiday seasons. We continue to work with Jamie because of the comfort she brings our family and how easy it is to work with her; she’s flexible and calm, and has a great vision."
"Jamie was very patient and supportive as she took photos of my family that included a 5 and 7 year old. One who was not feeling their best. She made everyone feel comfortable and gave us space to calm any discomfort from the children so she could capture photos that ended up being lovely."
Your session is more than a date on the calendar — it’s a beautifully designed experience, tailored to you.
After our call, you’ll receive a welcome email with your contract, session fee, and deposit details. Before your session, I’ll check in with you — usually a few weeks before and again the day prior — to make sure you are ready and excited!
step three: Review and book.
We’ll have a quick phone consultation to talk about your expectations and go over any questions or concerns you might have. I love these calls because it gives me the chance to get to know you and understand more about what you hope to get out of your time with me, hear all about the things that make this phase of life special for you, and how we could plan your session to make it not only personalized, but a really fun and relaxed experience for everyone.
Sessions are unhurried, giving you space to be fully present while I guide when needed and step back when the moment calls for it. Every image is created with an eye for mood, light, and detail — inspired by editorial sophistication and the nostalgia of film photography — and delivered as more than just digital files. Your gallery is designed to become heirloom albums, framed artwork, and legacy pieces you’ll treasure for decades.
Fill out the contact form with your your photographic needs, and we’ll schedule a phone consultation. After our call, I’ll send a detailed pricing guide and we’ll get to know each other a bit — answering questions, talking through ideas, and beginning to shape the experience together.
Step ONE: Get in touch

Step four: artistry worth treasuring
Most sessions take place in your home or somewhere meaningful to you. Familiar spaces tend to help everyone feel more comfortable and relaxed. If you’d prefer to be outdoors or incorporate an activity, we’ll choose a location together during planning that feels natural and personal to you or your family. My goal is to create space for you to feel comfortable being your most authentic self.

Absolutely. Most of the people I work with feel this way at first. My approach is gentle, unhurried, and focused on connection rather than posing. Before your session, we’ll plan the flow of the day together so everything feels comfortable and natural. You don’t need to know what to do or how to act. I’ll offer guidance when helpful and give space when moments unfold on their own.
That’s expected. Sessions are designed with flexibility in mind, especially for kids. There’s no pressure for constant cooperation or perfect behavior. We keep the focus on being together and playing, with space to move, explore, and take breaks as needed. No one is expected to sit still.
Wear something that feels like you. I recommend starting with one outfit you love and building the rest of the looks around that, keeping everyone at a similar level of casual or dressy. Neutral tones, texture, and subtle patterns tend to photograph beautifully. You’ll also receive guidance during planning to help everything come together.
Our studio sessions take place in a fully equipped, light-filled space, offering classic, clean, editorial-style portraits for your portfolio, website, or home.
All offerings are designed as complete experiences.
Each offering is all-inclusive.
After your session, you’ll receive a complete gallery of images with full print permission, allowing you to enjoy, share, and preserve your photographs without limitation. Each experience is intentionally paced and thoughtfully guided from start to finish.
If you’re dreaming up a project that feels personal or outside my listed offerings, I’d love to hear about it. Thoughtful ideas deserve a conversation, and I’m always open to exploring meaningful creative work together.
